We’re pleased to announce that – starting today – you can now send any articles we publish to your Kindle, for later reading.
We’ve long been working on making the content we publish available for reading later. In fact, you may remember we trialed integration with Readability for a period.
Over the last several months, however, a bunch of you asked us to make it easier to save the content we publish to other devices. So, we’re starting with Kindle. The Kindle is an incredible device, and it’s just perfect for reading on the move. Now you’ll find a small button titled ‘Send to Kindle’ positioned at the top right of each article.
It looks something like this:
Tapping it will launch a panel (seen below) asking you to login to your Amazon Kindle account. Once logged-in, you can instantly send the article you were reading directly to your Kindle. It’s that simple.
The ability to ‘Send to Kindle’ is now available both when reading the site from a Mac (or PC), and also when reading via a smartphone or tablet. We hope it proves a useful feature to your reading experience, going forward.
