Nokia To Apple: “We Prefer To Build For Quality, Not Quantity …” – [VIDEO]

Hoping to use Apple’s new television campaign to its strategic advantage, Nokia has today pulled the wraps off its own television advert, which snipes at Apple’s glorifying of ‘quantity over quality.’

Taking aim at the company’s recently posted television spot – Photos Every Day – which focuses on the iPhone 5 and its photographic capabilities, Nokia’s latest ad for the Lumia 925 – entitled “Better Photos Every Day” – is styled exactly like Apple’s own advert, and does an (admittedly) good job at showing off the handset’s photographic qualities.

The only difference is that the ad’s narrator, says:

“Every day, more photos are taken on the iPhone than any other phone. But at Nokia, we prefer to build for quality, not just quantity.

The ad concludes by stating: “Everyday … better photos are taken with Nokia Lumias, than with any other mobile.” Ouch.

Launched at the end of June, the Nokia Lumia 925 features a 4.5-inch AMOLED display, and Nokia’s “super-sensitive touch” technology. The handset also features a primary camera sensor size of 8.7 MP, with “PureView,” alongside dual LED flash.
