Everyone gets excited at an Apple product launch. Perhaps, too excited. But one guy may take the award for the most awkward, heart-stopping moment that could have possibly happened during Apple’s iPhone launch – yesterday.
Jack Cooksey waited overnight to be the first person in Perth, Australia to get his hands on Apple’s iPhone 6. In a rush to show the reporter his new purchase, and pose for the Australian media with his new slab of shiny in hand, though, Cooksey proceeded to drop the device. Live on TV.
Thankfully, there was no shattering of the device’s display.
Just a few scratches. (Maybe).
