Virgin Mobile has today revealed that Apple’s latest and greatest handset – the iPhone 5 – will soon become available to customers on its network. Changing its frontpage to reflect the announcement, according to reports the network will introduce the handset on its ‘Beyond Talk’ plan, which includes both unlimited 3G/4G LTE data and SMS services.
The iPhone 5 on Virgin Mobile USA will start at just $549.99 for the 16GB model, with the 32GB and 64GB flavors of Apple’s latest iPhone costing $649.99 and $749.99. If you want ‘unlimited’ data as part of the package, you’ll want to add $30 per month to those prices.
“Virgin Mobile USA will launch the iPhone 5 on Friday, 6/28/12 on its Beyond Talk plans, with unlimited 3G/4G LTE data and messaging* starting at $35 per month but customers can also receive a $5 per-month plan discount when they register and sign up for automatic monthly payments [“Auto Pay”] with a credit card, debit card or PayPal account, making the iPhone 5 available on Virgin Mobile for as low as $30 per month**.”
*All plans include 2.5GB/month of 3G/4G full speed data.
